Three years of war of a aggression

To create is hard but beautiful.

To destroy is easy but monstrous.

Today, we live in a world where the forces of creation must be defended against powers of destruction.

After three years the contrast could not be clearer.

Russia sends men to fight and die for one man’s idea of glory. Ukrainians fight and die for a better future for their children.

Ukraine is fighting for a future where leaders are servants, not masters.

Where government seeks to empower, not to subjugate. Where those in power embrace diversity but do not impose conformity.

We all hope for peace – it is all the people of Ukraine have ever asked.

When peace is achieved, Ukraine must be allowed to continue on its path to freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law.

The children of those who have fought and died deserve no less.
